I'm trying out NinjaTrader. Over the weekend I got it installed (had to install an older .NET framework - what's up with that??), and watched the video tutorials, and generally played with the simulations.
I want to see how well it works with a live feed, but I can't get either of my feeds (PatSystems and ESignal) to connect.
ESignal may be a password problem - I'm waiting for an answer from them right now, but I know the PatSystems user/password are correct - I've got J-Trader running right now (and ESignal, too). I assumed that your "Host Server" is the same as what PatSystems shows as "Transaction Server", and it all looks good.
However, when I hit the connect button, NT sticks on "Connecting" forever, and never actually connects... am I doing something wrong, or is the "free" "trial" version simulated prices only as well as simulated trading only?
