I'm a 100% newbie. I would like to use Ninja to trade forex with gain using an automated strategy.

Any experiences with Gain+Ninja? I guess Ninja is free if Gain is your broker?

Any limitations using gain?

My friend who uses tradestation + Gain says that Gain suxs and is not reliable enough for autotrading? Any advice?

I've been using Gain for a bit now with Ninja.

The spreads could be better, but no major complaints so far. If it weren't for NinjaTrader support, I probably wouldn't use them though.

I've read numerous accusations of 'stop-hunting' so I generally use simulated stops, but before you decide to do so make sure you are aware of the risks.

Here's a link to the NFA case document involving Gain if you care to read it:

I'd probably also look into MBTrading. I've heard good things and although you'd need pay for a live license to use NinjaTrader, with the difference in spreads you could actually save money. I'd use MBTrading myself but although people in Liechtenstein, Mauritius, Seychelles and Kuwait can open accounts, people in Canada can't.

IB is also a good choice, but you need at least $10k to open an account.
