I cannot find anyone who offers this Zen-Fire technology. Can someone name couple of brokers that offer this connection.

Yes, through the NinjaTrader framework. What exactly do you want to do? You can load the NinjaTrader.Core.dll into Visual Studio and write your own application using our framework.
I use Ninja/Zen for trading but I am looking to get a charting application to read the Zen data feed. Is there documentation on the API somewhere?

There is inline documentation, if you load the dll into Visual Studio, you can see all the class names and associated methods and properties.

Hi Ray,
I just asked a similar question in another thread -- so if I load the NT framework, that means if NT is up and connected to an RT datafeed, I could write my own app to "intercept" incoming data and plug it in RT into a spreadsheet, etc? Is that documented to any extent? Thanks,
Gordon

See my reply.
We do not provide support for our entire framework. We only support a subset of it that we call NinjaScript. Everything officially supported is documented. Anything not documented that you may stumble is not supported.

hmmm...in 2006 the attitude was a lot more outreaching and helpful than the below 2008 response now, was it not?
He had asked a simple question and inquired regarding the functionality of your framework and had not seek help and support!
I need to know the same thing before wasting a lot of time on creating own front end utilizing the NT framework and I just renewed my yearly multi broker license for the second complete year only a few days ago and if I don't get the proper responses unfortunately will be forced to choose other API the likes of Zen etc. and we really need to know is that if we on our own without your help and support(sadly) get the NinjaTrader.Core.dll to function will we then be able to connect and perform all functionality utilizing the existing License parameters or even having NT run simultaneously to take care of the Licensing needs or NOT?
thanks
p.s.
I'm not trying to be a jack ass here by the way, but some transparency and a warmer more welcoming attitude on your part is really needed and appreciated here.

I edited my original post.
I re-read the entire thread for proper context.
For sure the intent was not to come across cold. In short, years ago we did provide some unofficial support for our framework but that changed. At this time, we only provide support for our documented NinjaScript layer. Any programming outside of that we don't support any longer.

Thanks for the note but, wanting to know if utilizing the said dll is at all possible and if it supplies full functionality or not when NT running in the background is NOT a support question?!
Users need to and MUST know the full facts about your products as in if possible we'll then program it on our own with Zero support from the NT staff but if not then we must know prior hand to not waste weeks of programming time and settle for other options.
"Will NT running in the background take care of the licensing aspects and allow connection to feed/broker etc. or not if own front end developed properly and with ZERO support from NT?"
thanks

You are asking a question on functionality that is outside of what we support. We advise you not to program to our Core.dll. We do not support it. I can't guarantee the operation of it in any way shape or form.
I don't intend to be cold but to the point so there is no misunderstanding. We only provide programming support for NinjaScript and any programming to undocumented classes/properties/methods are at your own risk.

Well, I guess time to move on to other available alternatives for those of us unable to develop within the preset confinements.
