I have seen mention of in some places "continuous contracts" referring to some Emini futures contracts such as ES and YM. Does CME/CBOT actually offer these or are they some sort of merged/composite contracts put together and offered by some data providers to be used for continuous charting? Are they available through Zen-Fire? Thanks.

I believe they are accessible with the use of ##-## for the expiry dates.

I am sorry but I am pretty dense about some things and didn't understand your response. If I am interested in the YM then can you specifically tell me how to specify the YM coninuos contract for charting? Thanks.

Hello Higler,
When you are selecting the charts month of expiry scroll all the way to the bottom of the month listing and you will find ##-## as a listed contract month. If you data provider offers a continous contract you can view the continous contract via the ##-## month of expiry.
