Tradestation External data feed

Hello NT,
I been using Tradestation and NT and i connect with External Data Feed.
What i have done is, i imported history from tradestation and my questions is, every time i start tradestation and NT do i have to import history again?

Data imported into NT is persisted in NT's database. No need to import it again.

I've loaded the NT Data Download into a TS chart - it took a long time to finish but in theory it sent 3 years of 1 min. data to Ninja .. but when I open up the Ninja chart all i see is the data for the last few minutes - I've changed the chart intervals to 240 min and the start date to 2005 - but nothing??

Thx for the fast reply - I believe I did all of those steps EXCEPT 1 .. It tells me to select - Tools- Historical Data- Import - and a dialogue window will show me the name of the file to import, but there are no files listed in the dialogue box??

- please make sure you are on latest 6.5.1000.1 (Help->About)
- please go again through steps here and make sure you get the ELD file from NinjaTrader 6.5 install folder: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/HelpGuideV6/Installation.html

Yes I was using the 6.0 version so I reloaded the TS .ela's - then when I went to Ninja there WAS a file to import! I closed the old chart and opened a new one - I chose the symbol from the symbol list and picked an interval of 240 min. back to 2006 .. and the chart is totally BLANK .. in fact no interval period works and different start dates don't matter either

Please proceed as per my post #6 and make sure you do all this on NT 6.5 and not (!) NT6.

I just need to get over this last hump ...
I've imported and used the necessary eld's into TS and a TS chart (@ES.d 1 min)
I've successfully imported the data file ino Ninja Trader (I've gotten the message: "External Data is imported successfully")
I go to File > New> Chart .. and I chose the ES.D symbol from the symbol list and it charts today's 1 minute bars .. no data before today is chartable/available in any timeframe

When I bring up a new 1 minute chart - I get a good chart - when I ask for some historical data by changing the start date - it goes blank. The reload Historical data command is not available

The data was imported already -- it just won't chart it
