I am a new user of NT so I am not sure whether this is only a problem specific to NT 6.5.

In NT6.5, when a chart is displayed on the screen, clicking on the corresponding taskbar button once should minimize that chart thus the chart gets invisible. Clicking that taskbar button once more should restore that chart window. However in NT6.5, the chart can not be restored by clicking the taskbar button. The only way to restore it is to right-click on the taskbar button and select the "Restore" from the popup menu. This bug makes NT not very user friendly as far as switching from multiple charts is concerned since it can not put charts in a tabbed pane as the OpenECry or Tradestation platform does. When the screen space is limited, this would be a big problem. Is there any third party software to dock NT multiple charts to a tabbed pane?

This is a known limitation at this time.

Will the bug be fixed in the next update which is scheduled to be released in a few days? Thanks.

If this limitation can not be overcome on win XP, does it mean we may never be able to restore (maximize) charts by clicking buttons on the taskbar?

This is a limitation on win XP which we are unable to overcome at that time.

You have to right click on the taskbar icon and select restore. Using Alt +Tab is prehaps a better way to navigate between windows
