View Full Version : 5.1.1000.1 Installation Issues

I was having some problems with my 5.1.1.3 Beta release, so I went to download anupdatedversionand found version 5.1.1000.1. No Beta releases where available. When I tried to install 5.1.1000.1, I received the attached error message. What can I do to resolve this. Thanks

Try uninstalling current version.
Clear internet browser cache
Try installing

I cleared out my internet cache and received the same error messagewhen trying to remove the current versionusingadd/remove programs on the control panel. I was not able to uninstall it. Any other suggestions?

Vince,

Looks like the recommendations on the links worked including deleting the directories after the uninstall.I hope mysituation is the exception and not the norm. Thanks for your help.

Here is what I did:

1) Downloaded the mirror image installation zip file per the instructions on the link

2) Unzipped to the c:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 5

3) Uninstalled the NinjaTrader 5

4) Deleted NinjaTrader 5 directory (Not sure if I had to do this, but was in the instructions)

5) Redownloaded new NinjaTrader 5

6) Installed new NinjaTrader 5

Hope that is what youare looking for

Thanks Whitmark. Actually what I meant was on the first attempt to upgrading, did you just run the installer or actually uninstall the current version first?
