I have a position in an Fxxxxxxx account that has no permission to trade. This came as a duplicate to a real position in a real Uxxxxxxx account. I am unable to clear this as IB does not recognize it.
How do I clear it?

Hi Stewart,
have you contact your broker and let them cancel the trade?

Hi Vince,
IB reports no position. Never was one in the Fxxxx acc. But Ninja has one.

If you log back off, restart NT, then log back on, is the F account position still there?

I shut Ninja down ignoring the "you have 1 position" message and reopened. The cyber trade has now gone.
Is there a way to get Ninja to ignore the Fxxxxx Ib account that has no permission to trade?

We report positions reported by IB so we do not ignore anything they send us.

Still something not right. The Fxxxx has a status of NO TRADING PERMISSION from IB so no trades will ever be in that account. However Ninja thinks it is a trading account, whereasthe account is purely a record of the Uxxxxx account trades, and should not be in Ninja as an additional open position.

I agree its not right and will report this to IB.

It does seem that this non existant open position is ONLY seen in NINJA and not IB. I only discovered Ninja had it when I did a flatten everything and the trade Ninja thought was in the Fxxx account was rejected by IB. In fact no such trade ever existed in that account from what I can see.
