View Full Version : Ninja Says Connected to PATS but Isn't

Help! I've uninstalled and reinstalled Ninja and rebooted with the recurring problem that Ninja indiates PATS Connected at the bottom of the screen but there is no data
and the broker does not see me. Also, the Connected button does not color in as usual nor does it emit the normal connected sound.

Please send Help-->Mail to support; in subject include "for Ray"
Having a simlar problem. This usually happens after an attempted order entry on the DOM is for some reason rejected or "handshake" fails and I get the "bullet fireing" sound effect. Find I am unable to establishfeed t DOM for rest of day even though Ninja says connected. There is no Green colour bar or connected sound.
Logging on to Ninja the next morning usually works ok until the problem re-occurs.
What needs to be done to rectify?

Can you go to Help--> Mail to support and check the box for zip and attach Database and then send.
After sending go to C disk--> Program Files--> NinjaTrader5. Click on the folder and then rename the DB and restart NinjaTrader.

To temporarily resolve:
Rename the database:
Shut down NT
C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 5\db\ninjatrader.mdb --> C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 5\ninjatraderOld.mdb
Restart
Will put out a fix later today. Stay tuned.

Here is the fix:
First uninstall the current version via Windows Control Panel Add/Remove programs, then install this version:

This fix seems to have created other problems. Now getting unhandled exception messages.
