I accidentally terminated NinjaTrader via the Windows Task Manager and have tried everything to get back on, including rebooting, uninstalling NT and then reinstalling it. No luck.:( Called the broker and had them reset my password also.

Hi,
The error means that your account has not been set up correctly. Make sure that you confirm woth your broker that it's set up correctly on their end.

Hi Vince - I've used NinjaTrader with FlashFutures for about a year so know that my account was set up properly. This has happened before. If, for any reason, Ninja Trader is terminated before the end of a marketing session, I cannot log in again until the next day. Flash says it is a Ninja problem and Ninja says it is a Flash (broker) problem but the net result is losing the rest of the day's trading. There must be a reason and a solution.

The problem is in the Patsystems API. Its not a Ninja problem nor a Flash problem. The way to overcome this is inconvenient but can be done.
Flash needs to reset your account. Any broker with Patsystems can do this. If they say they can't, let me know and I will personally send an email to them and copy you and ask them to do this.

Thank you Ray. I forgot that we actually have another party to point fingers at, PATS :). Your response makes sense and was very helpful.

When one logs off the Pats server unnaturally the user ID gets "ghosted" often on the server. The Pats admin can clear the uid off the server as multiple log ons usually are blocked
