hist. data difference chart vs strategy analyser

As I open up a chart more then a year of data is loaded to the chart ( i believe from the NinjaTrader servers)
adding a strategy to the chart, then right click in the 'strategies' tab in the control center, I can view my strategy prefomance by clicking ' historical and real time'

but as I try to this through the Stratgy Analyser window I don't have this much data available ? (see screenshot)

I though I read in a previous post the same data would be used ?

How do I get this data loaded in the Strategy Analyser ?

Sorry I don't follow.

Note: backtesting on more than e.g. one month of tick/range/volume series may have unpredictable results due to ressource issue: juts too much memory would be used.

Hi Dierk,

A new opened chart shows me data back to 25/07/2007
and a chart opened in the Strategy Analyser only shows me data back to 11/03/2008
I wanted to know why there is a difference here and how to fix it

Chart in strategy analyzer goes by settings in Tools->Options->Data->lookback period, whereas File->New->Chart goes by whatever timeframe you selected.
