Hi Ninjas,

I apologise firstly if what I am about to ask is out-of-bounds, but I am curious.

During the webinar with John the other day, he mentioned that Ray developed NinjaTrader to automate the functions that one normally does manually, so he could concentrate on handling the emotion and psychological issues associated with trading. By this I gather it means the he developed the SuperDOM window.

If this is so, how is it that TT could be suing NT and others for using the StaticDOM interface if it was "invented" by guys at NinjaTrader? I think its a bit odd...

regards,

Antraman

TT patents cover what is implemented by NT static DOM. According the patents TT had the "prior art".

So did Ray develop static DOM and TT copied, or TT developed static DOM and Ray copied, or did both develop same idea independantly at the same and TT got the patent first?

Still not too clear...

thanks,

TT developed DOM many years ago. I developed the SuperDOM based on user input. Did not realize that there was a patent pending on it.
