Is there a way to keep price alerts ( to sound ) still active after they have been hit. or perhaps a timer to reactivate? thanks.

Unfortunately not with this indicator.

If I re-open the indicator - and click apply - will that make it active? If not - is there any solution. ( eg. Retype the price?)
