View Full Version : Supported Platforms Question

I'm having to upgrade and have been running NT6 on XP2 Professional. (Haven't traded yet as still in development phase.) I have a few simple questions regarding my choice of future platform.

How well does NT run on Vista (I'm not keen on this as I'm just expecting more Microsoft bloatware)?
Will it run on XP 64 bit?
Will it run on Windows Server 2003? (I know NT probably hasn't been tested on this nor will it be supported on this but I'd like your guys opinion on whether this will be possible or not? I know you can give no guarantees nor are responsible if it doesn't work properly but I'd still really appreciate your input.)

many thanks

Thank you for your post.

1) NinjaTrader runs great on Vista but please be aware that it requires 2GB RAM or higher when using Vista.

2) We only test the 32 bit operating system so we cannot gaurantee the performance on a 64 bit operating system.

3) We have not tested the Windows Server 2003, and I haven't heard any feedback from customers currently running it so I do not have any input on it at this time.

Thanks for the speedy response. I appreciate it.

Will probably go with Vista then.

Speaking of Vista, SP1 is now RTM, will Vista SP1 be supported with the release of 6.5?

Thanks,
Guy

Yes, there should be no issue.
