Hi,

I have been playing around the MA and its capabilities are greater.

I have realized some differences between indicators on the MA and on the chart that I solved synchronizing both using the same number of bars back. This works in most of the cases but now I have situations where I still have some differences and the only to solve them is reloading the historical data.

I don’t understand what is causing this issue but it seams that MT is saving the information received in different places.

If it is useful for you I am using the version 6.5.0.8 with IB.

Additionally I would like to know if there is a way to backfill only the gap and not all the period. This is very slow with IB and really it is pointless except if we think there is another gap in the middle.

Many thanks!

The indicators that are out of sync -

- They must start out of sync right? As opposed to getting out of sync?
- If yes, there must be some difference between the parameters of a chart and the MA, did you try loading more data in the MA?

See Tools > Historical Data > Reload --> You can specific what to reload but only a daily basis.

Thanks,

Yes this happens when I start not later. I have followed you recommendation and it works but I think this validates my though. I think should be a good improvement if the information managed by both is the same.

Best regards

The underlying data is the same, the controlling window that uses the data is where the discrepancy is.
