Will the dynamic version of the Dome begin to work automatically next week ? (I am with a Pats broker)

I downloaded 5.0.1000.6 this morning and it still displays the static Dome today.

Yes. By 2006-01-01 you only will have the dynamic DOM unless you send a request to sales@ninjatrader.com for a static DOM.
