View Full Version : HotKey Functionality Request

I wanted to add myself to your list of current NT customers who would greatly benefit from the addition of hotkey order entry.
I like to focus exclusively on my charts while I'm submitting an order on the DOM. This can't be don't so easily with the Mouse, because you have to make sure you are properly aligned with the Dom buttons. A keyboard button push solves this problem.
I know that it has been put on the NT possible enhancement list. I also know how difficult it is to prioritize and schedule software updates.

1: Have HOTKEYs actually been decided to be added?

2: If so, could you provide any time frame estimate (i.e. 2-3 mo's, 6 mo's, 1 yr)?

Any information you can provide will be helpful in deciding how much effort I should put into a "workaround" on my end.

Hi Dierk,
Thanks for responding but I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Did you mean that NT doesn't have an estimate for when hotkey support will be included?

Correct. There is no estimate for the time of arrival yet.

Every other Trading Platform in the Universe has Hotkeys ....
Why Not NinjaTrader ????

You guys spend so much time trying to trick out NT ,

But what about the simple requests like Keyboard Hotkeys.

Come On .... I've been requesting this for over a year

I need also Hotkeys for Trading. Will change quick to Ninja, when Hotkeys are available. Now after 6 month again, is there any plan to add HOTKEYS???

Come on guys. You have every kind of bell and whistle on this software EXCEPT a necessary feature of high volume traders.

The DOM is useless without it.
