I can't seem to be able to apply a Regression Channel to an indicator.
Is this possible?

Hello TapeReader,
Thank you for your post.
Yes, this is possible by adding the "RegressionChannel" indicator. You will change the "Input Series" to the indicator you want to apply it to on your chart. Please let me know if you are able to find this in the Indicator window.

Thanks, Ray.
I was able to follow your suggestion but would prefer to use the Regression Channel Drawing Tool so that I can manually adjust.
Is this possible?
All the best,
Carl

Hi Carl,
I'm checking with Development to see if this is possible. I should get an answer back early this week.
Thank you for your patience!

Hello,
Unfortunately the drawing tool would not work on anything other then price bars in NinjaTrader.

Can this be put in as a feature request?
Thanks,

I have a question related to this?
The drawing tool, "Regression channel," would it be possible for it to be modified, for example to have more lines on it? For example, the standard one has the actual regression line in the center, and above and below another set of lines for deviation away from it.
Can it be modified in a way to show more than these 3 lines? Can it be duplicated in the script for it somewhere, and then modified?
I guess the question is can Drawing tools be modified via script the same way one can create indicators and such?

Hello,
Unfortunately the regression channel is programmed for only 1 upper and lower line. Drawing objects cannot be customized with NinjaScript at this time.
This is on developments list to look into including this functionality for our next major release.
