Is there a way to adjust the number of ticks offset on a SL order on the Super Dome rather than going to the properties window..?

Hi,

You can do this by submitting a Stop Limit order with your scroll wheel (middle mouse button). Then a window pops up where you can enter your limit offset.

More info about Stop Limit orders can be found here:

That is a different box. Please take a look at the link I provided for the Stop Limit order and you will see what I mean.

Hello,

Please enter "Off", next to "Stop limit offset" in the SuperDOM properties (right click in the SuperDOM). Upon submitting a stop limit order a box will pop up where you can define the stop limit offset.

My computer does not have a middle mouse button. Any suggestions for placing a stop limit buy or sell on the SuperDOM? Alternatives? Thanks

Hello steveg,

I suggest to check the Windows Control Panel and see if you can use a keyboard button or mouse button to act like a middle mouse button. For example, I'm able to set up a middle mouse click in my touchpad settings by left and right clicking simultaneously.

is there a way to change the offset from a cme stop order from being the very wide 20 ticks to something more reasonable?

Hello craigmares,

I suggest to use a stop limit order with the offset to your liking in the offset box that pops up upon placing the stop limit order.

it's not so much when i place a new stop limit order but rather when doing ATM, the stop is placed for me and i can't change the offset. I see a few posts mentioned by ninjatrader_ray that you guys hard code the offset to 20 ticks? is that value changeable?

Unfortunately this is not changeable.

Just to be sure: If I change the stop limit offset in the DOM properties to 5 or 10 ticks, this will have no impact on stop limit orders created by ATM (bracket orders) as the default value is 20 ticks? At least this is what I observed for CME/Globex. So changing the stop limit offset only affects single orders via middle mouse button, is that right?

Hi Harry,

You are correct.
