Hello,

I simply tried to short GNSS at .46 using a stop-limit order and a 1cent limit.

That's for letting me know. Is the bug persistent? Can you reproduce?

I ran some tests but still I am not able to reproduce. Can you please provide detailed steps on how to reproduce? Thanks

Also: I noticed in your log, that the stop price was set to 0.01. Weird as well. Would love to know how to reproduce.

I can't reproduce it today either. So let's just scratch it unless it reappears.

thanks for your help

I finally reproduced the error. It's a two step problem.

First, I entered a sell limit order with a limit price of 0 as shown in the attached jpeg file. I get the error message and about 5 beeps. I enter the correct limit price, I submit the order, I get the error message and 5 beeps but the order is placed.

Then I get the error message on every event I do. To stop the error messages, I have to quit NTv5. But I can't reconnect to IB when I restart NTv5. I get the 'IB connected message' but I don't have the account listed in my account options.

Even after restarting IB, I can't connect with NTv5. So now I use NTv4.

I just tried, but could not reproduce.

1) We will address the issue where you can enter 0 limit/stop prices or limit/stop order pretty soon.

2) Can you please retry and send trace and log files to support? (Help->Mail to support)

Thanks

sent email earlier in the daywith log and trace files in one txt file. Reproduced problem on 2nd PC.

Unfortunately, I have screwed something up because NTv5 will not even connect to IB when I am using my laptop.
