Hi,

I downloaded the demo version and I am really impressed with your software. I'm looking forward to automate my startegies but I have a question/suggestion.

I use a program called APS Automatic Pattern search to discover short term price patterns in index, futures, etf and forex data. This program generates automatically Easylanguage code and other scripts but it has no support for NinjaScript. I contacted the company (tradingpatterns.com) and I was told that this feature can be added to their next upgrade release but it must be first requested by your company (I suspect this may have to do with possible legal issues then).

Another possibility is a translator from Easylanguage to NinjaScript. Is there something like that available?

Thanks --- Ron

Hi Ron,

Welcome!

At this time there is no EL to NS translator however, this is on our list as a possible future enhancement. I will also put the vendor you mentino on our list to contact. Thanks for suggesting it.

Thank you for the reply. I am learning your software and I am very excited about it. I was able to create simple scripts and then view the code to try to learn the language.

I hope you contact Tradingpatterns.com soon and ask then to add the script generation for their patterns in their next upgrade. I have over 200 patterns I use in my trading and adding the function or getting a translator will be of great help. They are very responsive and highly recommend your product. I just got and email from them about converting historical data files exported from ninjatrader to the format read by their program and this is the link for your reference:
