TWS with IB

Hello,

I have a version of TWS that was installed in April, 2004 (version 4.0). I get a notice every time I start up my computer that there is a newer version. I hesitate to upgrade for fear that it will adversely affect Ninja.

I just received a message from IB that the current version of TWS will not be accepted after January. Do you know what this means to us or what we need to do?

Nothing to do at this point sounds fine. But what about when the current versions

of TWS no longer work after January? Obviously we will ALL have to upgrade to the

new version of TWS. The question is: Will thecurrent versions of NinjaTrader that we

now have on our computers work with the new version of TWS? Or will there be an

update (Beta or not) for NinjaTrader that we will have to install in order for it to be

compatible with the new TWS.

I don't see the need for an update but I can't tell you now because we are still weeks away. I have done preliminary tests on the new TWS version without problems thus far. Futher regression testing will be performed over the upcoming weeks and if there are no problems (I expect none) then there is nothing for you to do.

I am relieved to hear you have been doing preliminary tests on the new TWS version

with no problems so far. And that you are doing regression testing over the upcoming
