Unable to retrieve infos from assembly..

Hi,

I've just had this error message pop up (see attached image) when I right clicked a chart and selected 'indicators' from the drop down menu.

What do I need to do to prevent it from happening?

I have never seen this error before. Is it reproducible? Any more information you can provide us about your setup would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have installed any 3rd party indicators or strategies? If so, please uninstall and contact vendor.

This is good, old fashioned user error!! :o

I had mistakenly copied a DLL file to the wrong directory.. I Should've copied it to
\Program Files\NinjaTrader 6\bin\Custom but instead had copied it to
\My Documents\NinjaTrader 6\bin\Custom..

I removed it, restarted NT6, clicked 'indicators' and the error message had disappeared. I copied it back, restarted NT6, clicked 'indicators' and the error message reappeared so yes it's reproducable and has now been resolved.

Note: You NEVER should manually manipulate ANY file in the <my documents>/bin/Custom folder, since this could screw up your NT installation and ultimately cause support nightmares.

Please use the import/export NinjaScript features provided. If your preferred vendor does not support the regular import/export NinjaScript, ask him to provide you his work as NinjaScript archive.
