View Full Version : Blowing up simulation account???

This has happened for me a few times now... Whenever I trade a currency pair that has a two decimal place format, opening and closing positions seem to blow up the account.

For example, I opened a position by selling 5 lots of the GBPJPY pair. Once it hit my stop loss (I was down maybe 12 pips) I got an error saying that "Order has exceeded available equity. Please reduce order size..."

I get stuck with an open position that cannot be closed. :(

Any ideas how to fix this?

There is an issue with PnL calcs on sim account which will be fixed with next 6.5 update. For now you need to reset the sim account.

Can U fix this for 6.0??? I cannot do any simulated trades... as soon as I open a position, it crashes ninja.. and I have to reset the sim account. This should be a fairly easy bug to fix.. as the sim accounts work well on pairs that use a 4 digit decimal... this only happens on those pairs that use a 2 digit decimal

Hi VagyokC4,

Unfortunately, Dierk is not available at this time, but I will forward the suggestion. However, you can download NinjaTrader 6.5 beta version at the following link.
