Just got an error when trying to send a trade to collective2. I do have a valid sub to NT, any ideas? This is the first time this has happened, someone subscribed inbetween my opening and closing trades, could that possibly be it?

Can you try restarting NT.

- Then check Help > License Key to ensure that you have your license key entered
- Check File > Global Simulation Mode, should *not* be grayed out

Global simulation is not grayed out.

I have the liscense key that was sent to me via email (expires 11/25)

I was NOT connected to my broker when this trade went through.

I have made lots of trades to my broker (MB) with this liscense key and have sent lots of trade signals to C2 before.

Here are the messages I get on startup:

Please restart NT and connect to your broker. Let us know if this happens again. Thanks.

Just noticed in my email the error from collective2.

You can pay for and download a licensed version of NinjaTrader here:

http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/subscribe_trading_platform.htm (http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/subscribe_trading_platform.htm)
(You will need to select the "multi-broker" version of NinjaTrader.)

We are unable to accept this trade signal from an unlicensed version of
NinjaTrader.

I was unaware that I needed a multi broker liscense. Is this correct?

Correct, thanks for posting this additional information. You would need to upgrade to MultiBroker.

Okay, good to know.

Is this documented anywhere? You might change that error message to reflect that you need the multi user liscense.

edit.. just saw this, obviously missed it the first time.

* If your C2 system has paying subscribers, you MUST use the paid for NinjaTrader Multi-Broker Version otherwise you will NOT be able to send trade signals from NinjaTrader to your C2 account.

You might request C2 put that information on their site, I followed their directions in setting it up c2 and NT.
