Workspace Question

With several workspaces setup, only one can be 'in focus' at any time. Are the remaining workspaces supposed to maintain realtime chart updates or does this only happen once a particular workspace is selected?

If you switch focus from workspace "A" to workspace "B", as soon as you do, all visuals of workspace "B" will be updated instantly, no delay. In general, windows takes care of deciding what is painted or not. There may be some optimization logic underneath the hood when workspaces/windows are not visible, I don't recall what we decided but we did run extensive tests in this area.

Thanks for the ligtning fast reply..

If workspaces work as you suggest then this would have implications for realtime indicators such as Buy Sell Volume etc that are used in an out of focus workspace.

Apart from reverting to a single workspace - do you have any suggestions to cover this situation?
