I think I followed the proper procedure to split adjust my historical data for RIMM. The daily chart looks OK, but the 60m chart's data is wrong. I did this:
1. Start 6.5 beta 3 for 1st time
2. Check 'split adjust historical data'
3. Load a chart of RIMM (to pull the historical data)
4. Go into instrument manager and click 'Update Splits and Dividends'

Did you define the split in the Instrument Manager?
You can do this by bringing up the Instrument Manager->find RIMM->Edit->Misc tab->go to the bottom->click on Splits->Click the ... button->click New->setup the date and factor of the split.

There are splits defined in instrument manager; I am assuming they were pulled from IQFeed when I pressed the Update Splits & Dividends button. The daily chart wouldn't show up properly otherwise, right?

Make sure under Tools > Options > Data you have the dividends and splits enabled.

Yes; see step #2 of original post. Again, the daily data is properly adjusted.

Hmm. Pete S I can't reproduce it on my end, but I did notice an oddity in your screenshot. RIMM's price on 8/20 is suppose to be only $230-$240 before the split. In your picture we are seeing prices of $680-$700. Thats 3x $230-240. Perhaps there was an error in putting in the split? The prices we are seeing right now seems like a reverse split.
Please confirm that the split you have setup is on 8/21/07 and the factor is 3. Also, could you try reloading your historical data (Tools->Historical Data->Reload). Thanks.

Hmmm...I pulled the split data from IQFeed and the factor is set to 0.33, not 3. This is backwards, correct? It should be 3?

Correct. 0.33 would be a reverse split. The proper factor is 3.
