Connection TO IB

I use IB for DATA. I also use Qoute tracker charting. I noticed that I cant connect to IB with NT if QT is open. Will I have to ditch QT or is this ok?

Hi Ripcat,

If you have other applications connected to TWS besides NinjaTrader, you need to change the Cliend ID value from the other application. The Client ID value for NinjaTrader is set to zero and can not be changed. You need to change QTs Client ID to a different value than zero.
