Hi. Would it help NT at all to set the processor proirity higher in task manager (e.g., to AboveNormal or High)? I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2, with a single P4 3.6 processor.

Hi. It was a question rather than a suggestion. Does it improve NT performance to increase the processor priority?

It will only help if there are other heavy CPU programs on your computer.
Otherwise, it's a 'do-nothing' .. and can usually end up creating problems.
