Market Analyzer crashing NT7

NT freezing/crashing while downloading data has been driving me nuts for several days

Finally deduced this morning that the problem is using Indicators in MA ...seems to cause a delay or other problem which results in a disconnect from historical data which freezes all data downloading and all charts and NT

using 7.0.1000.2

to reproduce:
1. use default list in MA per first pic
2. connect PFG demo feed
3. workspace of 13 charts and 1 MA loads/works fine
4. add 2 indicator columns to MA as in second pic.....close NT saving workspace (and therefore new MA with indicator columns)...reopen and connect to PFG...feed hangs up...need Task Manager to close NT

the problem is caused by the difference of having the indicators in the MA on connection as NT can not download data and do indicator calcs in MA at same time apparently

workaround:
1. save an MA template as default which has no indicators...use this when you save workspace to close NT or apply before connection
2. after connection download, change the MA template to one you have saved which includes indicators...MA will reload data and calculate values with no problem

For the issue loading data with the indicator column applied, can you please tell me what the "# bars to look back" property is set to on your original market analyzer setup?

Thank you for that information - can you also clarify why you are loading two ADL indicator columns? From your screen shots, it looks like you're using the same settings per column and thus calculating the same data twice for the same values.

Do you see this issue if you remove one of the ADL columns and reconnect with this setup?

I had 2 ADLs to replicate 2 custom indicators I was running....same problem occurs with only 1 ADL

i could get it to crash twice with ADL and ADX in MA same time (both 4 range based)...but not with only 1 ADL
