View Full Version : This does not make sense to me

I have attached a picture of my control center.

I am currently long.

It shows my two OCO orders.

It shows the status of the Sell Target order as Working and the status of the Sell Stop order as Accepted. Why is this? This does not make sense to me? Why is one accepted and the other working? They are both in the same state or should be....

Also the voice never tells me "Order Filled" it always says "Order Order Pending". Its like it gets interrupted by the Order Pending announcement.

Thanks

Thank you for that. Very helpful.

Shouldnt both the Target and the Stop orders be in the Working State? Why is the Stop still at the broker and the Target at the exchange?

Hello,

They would not. As stop orders have a different state then working orders. And depending on your broker. The stop order may not acctually be on the exchange, but on the brokers servers.

Wouldnt it be more advantageous to me if the stop order was sitting on the exchange rather than on the brokers server? If that is true, who are the brokers that place the stop directly to the exchange?

Hello,

Unfortunately I wouldn't be privileged with this information. This would be more of a question for your broker. As for the difference on stop orders this would also be a question for your broker.
