Hi,
I keep getting the error in the subject of this message when connecting to opentick.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bert
edit: yesterday around 3pm ct I kept getting "Connection Lost", then it would connect then disconnect every 10 seconds or so. I finally disconnected (still talking about opentick).

Provided your connection credentials are accurate: no, I would not know what could cause that (apart from ISP issues). Please contact OT for clarification.

We experienced this problem on one of our accounts as well. We submitted a support ticket to OpenTick and will keep you posted.

I am getting login failed also this morning. I know of several other people who are also having this problem. OpenTick is saying there is no problem on their side. That it is Ninja's problem. Let the finger pointing begin.
Personally I think it's OpenTick problem unless they changed something over night.

Be are in the believe that finger pointing will not resolve the issue. That's why we contacted OT to get a clearer picture on that issue.

I just tried again on the account where it did not work before 3 hours ago and now it's working again.

I also had a problem connecting to opentick this morning.
It is most certainly not just a NinjaTrader problem, as I was also unable to connect using opentick's own Excel RTD adapter.

Hi,
just testing ninja and subscribed right now to OpenTick realtime data (globex, eminis) and when I try to connect I get the same message "The connection has been broken (2004)"

Provided you entered your account credentials correctly: Please contact OpenTick. Yesterday it turned out to be some OpenTick server issue. Also: I submitted another support ticket to OT.

YES, I entered my account credentials correctly (cheked several times)!
Already wrote a support ticket to OpenTick. Will see :)

Opentick data is unavailable again this morning!
Their web site also appears to be down, so I can't open a trouble ticket or even check the forum!
Does anyone here have any additional information about this ongoing issue?

You may consider sending a support request to "support AT opentick DOT com".

I was finally able to login @ 11:23 AM eastern time. OpenTick has been very unreliable the last 7 days .

Scjohn,
Thanks for the update.
I also checked and their website is also back up again. Looks like they were able to solve the issue.

This is the second morning in a row that I am having problems logging in to OT. The strange thing is that I can log on fine using there QuoteBoard program. So I have to assume that there is no problem on their side. In the past with log in problems the QuoteBoard program would also no log in.
Yesterday morning I was able to eventually connect to OT.

Hello,
If you are receiving the same error message as before, this is do to a server isssue. You may want to contact OpenTick to sse if they are having any issues.

I'm stuck as well. I suggested contacting OT support. Their QuoteBoard might go through a different logon procedure that NT (NT connects to 2 redundant servers as advised by OT).

I just tried and could connect again.

At around 9:10 Am I was able to get connected. But first I shut down NT and then rebooted. Started NT and and connected on 1st try. Prior to shutting down NT and rebooting I tried 1 more time to connect and failed.

Another day, another morning and another login failure for OT.
I just shut down NT and then rebooted. NT was able to login to OT on the 1st try.
