Can anyone make a volume indicator to where the color differs based on volume and not on whether the bar is up or down? For example:

bar 1 has a volume of 100 lots
bar 2 has a volume of 200 and gets painted blue, since the volume was greater than bar 1
bar 3 has a volume of 150 lots and gets painted red, since the volume was lower than bar 2
bar 4 has a volume of 100 lots and stays red

This can be done fairly easily. All you need to do is change the Open[0] and Close[0] to VOL()[0] and VOL()[1].

is there a way to mod this code so the volume color follows the candle direction? ie; red candle = red vol bar? I'd like to be able to see at a glance if the volume bar was on an up or down candle- the opposite of bertg's request above...
