View Full Version : Problem with emailed trades from TradeStation

I've got an automated strategy programmed in TradeStation. I'm using the email hookup to port trades over to NT from TradeStation. I'm also using the sim mode account in NT. My datafeed is coming from my broker Interactive Brokers.
The problem I'm having is that, at least once a day, I'm losing my connection between NT and Interactive Brokers for a few seconds. When this happens, my pending trades in NT go from having a status of "working" to "unknown" (same thing happens when I lose my internet connection - I tested this by pulling the internet cable out of the back of my computer and lost my connection on purpose). Once this happens, these "unknown" trades will not execute when TradeStation tells them to execute, nor will they cancel when they are told to cancel. This will essentially render NT useless to me. Does anyone know an answer or fix for this? I'm desperate to make this work.
