Hi
I have just downloaded NT7RC1. I am moving from 6.5. In the process I did not select the migrate option as I wanted a clean install. This looks like a mistake. I think that because of this my trade execution data is not accessible to NT7. So I uninstalled and re installed to see if it would give me the option of migrating again but it did not. How do I go about getting access to historical live trade metrics in NT7?

Hello Lindsay,
Please see my response to the email you sent to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com.
If you did not migrate your NinjaTrader 6.5 data, your NinjaTrader 6.5 trade history will not be migrated to NinjaTrader 7.
Please uninstall/re-install NinjaTrader 7 as per the instructions below and you should get prompted again to migrate your data upon re-installing NinjaTrader 7.
Uninstall NinjaTrader 7 via the Windows Control Panel-->Add/Remove Programs (XP), Programs and Features (Vista).
Manually delete the C:\-->Program Files-->NinjaTrader 7 folder (if still exist)
Delete the (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7 folder.
Clear your browser cache and download and install NinjaTrader 7 at the link below.

Is there a way of doing this step manually? I already started to use NT7, but have not migrated my performance data from 6.5. Can I just export data from NT7, uninstall, reinstall with the option to import data, and then import the NT7 data which was exported?
Please advise.

Hello Thomas,
Yes, this is possible the way you describe it.
Export the data you like to save. Settings and data are saved in the (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7 folder.
Uninstall NinjaTrader 7 completely, including the (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7 folder. So please locate the settings and data you like to save to a temporary location.
Re-install NinjaTrader and click "yes' when prompted to migrate data.
Subsequently manually restore the NinjaTrader 7 settings and data. Please make sure to paste back the files at the exact same location in the (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7 folder.
