View Full Version : Unable to import scripts

I have just upgraded from 6.5 to 7. When I attempt to import a NinjaTrader 7 script, I get a warning message entitled "Import NinjaScript Archive File (.zip) Warning." The message reads,
"You have custom NinjaScript files on your PC that have programming errors. These errors must be resolved before you can import a NinjaScript Archive File."
I have not loaded any NinjaScripts into 7. I got this message on the first attempt to import scripts.

I have scripts loaded in 6.5.

I removed all of the add-on scripts from 6.5 thinking that might help. No luck.

Has anyone run into this problem or have any ideas what I need to do?

Thanbks,
Ron

Welcome to the forums here Ron, you would need to compile all scripts in the editor to see where the exact errors are stemming from - please follow the steps outlined here to resolve - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/forum/showthread.php?t=4678

Hello Stifland,

Can you please let us know the exact error message you're seeing from within the compiler. I've attached a sample screenshot of where to look.

removed everything included stuff in appdata,,reinstalled and now working fine.
I lost ability to migrate settings but no biggie.
Perhaps it was conflicting with some 6.5 stuff.

Thanks, Everyone. I did a full uninstall and then reinstalled and DID NOT migrate anything from 6.5 during the install and setup. That solved the problem.
