Hello,

I have 4 active trading pages in IB and w/o any problem. If I switch page, it may take a second or two for all symbols to load. Since I install NT, and use IB as first data feed, I constantly see IB error msg "Maximum ticker numbers exceed". And I can only see a few symbols with quote in IB trading page. I load Nasdaq 100 in NT market analyzer. What is the problem?

I also have tradestaion. I am wondering whether I can tradestation as my datafeed? Do I need to install tradestation and NJ on same pc? I am also concerned about performance degradation as warned in your tradestation connection guide. Please advise. Thank you.

That is a problem, since IB has a limitation on numbers of active tickers at a time. Please contact IB.

Please consults the docs on how to feed data from TS to NT: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/HelpGuideV6/ConnectingToTradeStationDataFeed.html

As for performance you would need to try if your particular scenario works fine on your machine.

Hi Dierk,
Thank you for quick reply. Two more questions:
1. Do I need to install TS and NT on the same machine?
2. In order to received multiple datafeed from TS, do I need to install NTExternalFeed strategy on each and every chart?

Thank you.

Hi,
Do I need to have a separte NTExternalFeed coming out of TS for each symbol and each time frame I'm charting in NT? Another words a duplicate chart in TS for every chart in NT?
Since TS doesn't have a seconds interval does NT build that from the TS tick data?

You only need it on one chart per instrument. Seconds bars are built from tick data.
