Hello ckait,

Thank you for your note.

Please clarify the following:

• What version of NinjaTrader are you running (both release & the version number)? This can be found under Help > About…
• What is the exact error message you are seeing upon trying to connect?

Can you please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Account Connections. Highlight your Zen-Fire connection and click Change. Click Next twice and click the 'Settings>>' button. Make sure 'Enable 64-bit' is checked and finish the connection.

You should now be able to connect to Zen-Fire while running NinjaTrader in 64 bit.

Would greatly appreciate advice on whether or not to get Win7 x64 or Win7 x32 on a new workstation I intend to buy.

I only buy a new workstation every 5-6 years (I hate having to re-install, etc.).

I've been told by a number of traders that if a program won't run under 64-bit the XP mode (32-bit) does a good job with no loss of speed.

But I'm not concerned only about Ninja and Interactive Brokers, but also "overall" (apologizing for the generality). I don't have a lot of time (nor patience) for ferreting out computer problems.

Many thanks!

Thanks, ckait. As long as it's not a major hassle now, I'd rather be a bit ahead of, rather than behind, the curve.

When you say "users in the US", are you referring to the broker end-point or the client end-point? If the Zen-Fire provider is a US broker in Chicago (like Mirus), does it matter if you (the client) are located in the US or not?

Hello,

Thanks for your note.

We are waiting on Zenfire to release there next version of the API that will allow clients outside the US to use the 64 bit adapter. However there is no change here this is still not supported.

I cannot comment on any plans for a 64 bit PFG adapter.

What time zone and region is your PC in as far as the Monday issue.

I look forward to assisting you further.

Please right mouse click within your chart-->Data Series-->Session Template-->Set to "Default 24/7"--> Click Ok.

Please let me know if the data then populates as expected.

Hello,

The adapter is still in beta meaning you could still incounter a bug. This is what the error message means. Please stick with the 2 bit side if you do not want the posibility of a bug.
