Chart Trader Bug #2

Just had Chart Trader Close button have not effect.

I had a 1 lot position on YM plus 2 Buy SLM above market and 2 Buy Limit orders below the market. Clicked close. Open order was not closed and other orders were left working.

Tried F5 to reload the chart and also reloaded the template. ...neither worked.

Had to restart NT to try to clear. This did not clear the problem.

Tried a new chart with same template.

Got an 'unhandled exceeption error' and had to close...lost workspace of course.

Started over. That cleared problem.

I then recreated my workspace and clicked to close NT (to save the workspace in case of another crash) and NT says I have 2 active orders.

I checked the Orders tab...no orders. Positions tab...no orders. Called my broker...no orders.

Closed NT twice...it still thinks there are 2 open orders.

Ideas? Re-install NT just to clear the orders?

I'm unable to reproduce your problem. Please provide a step by stpe guide on how to.

- to clear out sim account: Tools->Options->Simulator->Reset
- to clear out all trade data from your DB: Tools->Misc->Reset DB

Sorry. "you have 2 active orders" is message...not open orders.

Dierk. How can I possibly reproduce this?

At this point I just want to clear the error.

How do I do that? Re-install NT?

Ok. Reset of sim cleared the 'acitve order' message.

Will see if it occurs again.
