Newbie needs help with setting up Strategies

Hi,

I am a newbie with NT. Bought it recently. Using ver 6.5. I got my simple strategies coded by a 3rd party. It works for them but when I run it, sometimes it work, other times it doesn't.

Here is what I have been told to do :
It is to be used with the charts.

1. Create a ATM save it.
2. Launch strategy with the ATM saved. It should work.
It doesn't work most of the time for me. When it does, I do not know what I did right.

I hope someone can teach me the right way of setting up strategies. VIdeos links etc etc will be greatly appreciated.

Just to recap did you also send this question into support at ninjatrader dot com a I remember a similar question.

If so then no need to make double posts.

It is important that you watch the log tab in the control center to monitor your strategy. Also, your 3rd party programmer should also help with you with running his code. Could be the strategy is encountering an error or something else is going on. I
