Is there anyway to lock a charts scale, or am I just losing it. I have the horizontal lines set at 5 pips, is there anyway to specify a fixed scale for the vertical time lines at a similar specified interval, say 5 mins etc. I don't know if its me or what but the chart seems to auto rescale size if price suddenly moves off in one direction from a period of congestion etc and I need to resize things. Any help appreciated, thanks.

EDIT: By auto rescale I mean the horizontal lines are still set at 5pips etc but I need to use the mouse to resize/zoom the chart, usually making it smaller if there was a sudden price move in one direction etc.

Yes, you can. Double click in the chart canvas to load the Chart Properties dialog window. There is a parameter named "Horizontal grid interval" set this value to 5 for 5 pips.

Yeah sorry looks like some confusion. I can set the grid to 5pips etc, but the chart keeps zooming in/out depending on price action/movement. Eg if price was flat and suddenly plummits down, the chart will zoom out/in, the grid is still 5 pips but I need to resize/rezoom the chart. Is there anyway to keep this fixed and stop the auto zooming or whatever is happening, not sure what to call it. Im guessing not.

We do not support fixed scales at this time.
