I've been having troubles with my router for the last couple of days and I'm off to the store to buy a new one.

While this has been going on, I've managed to get NinjaTrader into a state where it won't connect to one of my data feeds.

OK, I know the solution is to exit NinjaTrader, and restart, or reboot the system, replace the flaky router, etc.

However, in the interests of increasing NinjaTrader reliability, I want to pass along information about this state, since it is possible that this problem could occur through ordinary Internet Service Provider outages.

The main issue that I found is that when I click on Connect to ZenFire datafeed, I get a message saying:

10/1/2007 1:25:51 PM Connection AMP -- Zen-Fire: Unable to login (10004)(LoginFailed)I can connect to the Gain demo datafeed fine, but any attempt to connect to ZenFire give the above message.

The problem apparently started with the message:

10/1/2007 3:19:00 AM Default Unable to connect to NinjaTrader data server (64.202.118.132/31654): No such host is knownAnd somehow or other NinjaTrader has gotten itself in a state where it cannot recognize this datafeed anymore.

Just thought I'd pass it along. Hope you can solve it.

Best regards,

KBJ
