Support,

I am using NT 6.5.1000.18 and when I restarted ninja, I got the following error, while loading 6E and YM. I also reset instruments and reloaded workspace,but got the same error. Can you please tell why is ninja giving this error?

Please follow the instructions below to repair the NinjaTrader database.


Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect
From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
Select the "Misc" tab (note: in NT V7 this has been moved to the "Data" tab)
Press the "Repair DB" button
Press the "OK" button


After you have repaired the database, please reconnect and bring up these charts.

Please let me know you continue to experience issues.

Thanks Support. Repair DB worked. Also, what was the reason for this error? Is NT 6.5.1000.18 reliable/stable or it is recommended to downgrade to 6.5.1000.17?

Also does NT-7 latest version have similar problem?

This can happen from time to time with your historical database and is not specific to the latest release of NT V6.5. Repairing the database will compact your files and resolve any general corrupt that may occur.

There have been improvements in the NT V7 database and should not see this issue happen has frequently, but that is not to say you will not see issues. Doing a repair of the database will usually fix any general corruption you may experience.
