Installation Error Funkiness

I have installed Micorosoft .NET x86 on my XP machine and when I try to install Ninja Trader it goes a good way into the installation and gives me:

Error attempting to read from the source install database: C:\WINDOWS\Installer\1cccf24d.msi

Has anyone had this problem before, please help!

Thank you for posting. Let's try to re-produce and let me know if you receive the same error.

Uninstall NinjaTrader 6 from the Windows Control Panel under Add/Remove Programs. Then delete the folder NinjaTrader6. The folder is located on your C disk--> Program Files--> NinjaTrader6. Also, you will need to delete the folder located under Desktop > My Documents > Ninja Trader 6.

Then, please delete any temporary internet files and windows temp files.
Then reboot your PC and download our latest production release from here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/download_download.htm

Note: You want to Run the software, not Save.

Well, I haven't installed an old version of the software. There isn't anything under the control panel or under Program Files yet. This is my first attempt to install and it gave me this error.. just can't figure this one out!

Let's try this...

1. Uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework V 2.0 from Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
2. Remove any old NT 6 installer packages that may have been saved on your pc.
3. Clear your internet browser cache
4. Download .NET Framework 2.0 from the link below:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&displaylang=en
5. Download NT 6 latest release from the link below:
http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/download_download.htm

Please run the software and not save.

I think I finally got it installed. I'm not sure what I did different, but it definetly is on my computer now. I am just working on registering and all of that at the moment. I will keep you updated to let you know how everything goes. Thank you for your help!
