Hello everybody,

I am sure that more people who have Ninja Trader installed are using Trend Micro Internet Security Pro as well. I just installed
Trend Micro Internet Security Pro
version 17.50.1697.0000
engine 9.200.1008
on a friend's PC and now Ninja Trader (I believe v6.5) won't connect properly any longer. I have setup some special rules in the firewall settings to allow the executable to pass traffic through the firewall. Further, I have implemented a fix that is suggested for some of the other trading software, such as Fidelity Trader.
The registry key that I have added is:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\NSC\TmProxy\WhiteList\Fid elity
ProcessImageName <executable of NinjaTrader.exe>

Ninja Trader will connect, however, it will lock up about every 10-15 minutes, freeze the charts for a little while and then continue on.

Does anyone have some advise of how to run NinjaTrader with Trend Micro?

Hi Wolfgang, welcome to our forums - have you checked his log / trace files already? Are there any entries at the times the freezes occurs?

Would the security software you employ use a realtime data stream filter?

Have you tried disabling this feature, so the stream is passed without any processing lag?
