View Full Version : historical data - incomplete

I'm running v6.5.1000.17 with a Zen-Fire connection.
I noticed today that when I wanted to access anything but min data historically the chart just hangs.
When I FORMAT DATA SERIES and leave all other parameters the same and change the chart type to 5min, 30min the data populates correctly. Since this seemed to affect all historic data (I tried it randomly on TF, ES, ZB), I used my NT is acting up Protocol:

Closed all workspaces and exited NT
Removed the NinjaTrader.mdb file
Rebooted my system
Restarted NT
Reset the Instruments
Added back the relevant Instruments
Connected to Zen-Fire
Created a new Workspace
Tried the same 3 dates in Volume and Min charts
The result is that only the Min charts populate with data. The others don't say "Loading" or anything else, and effectively hang the chart.

What's up - and what do I need to do to be able to access the other data? :(
Thx.

Hello ohtrader,

Thank you for your post.

Please rename your database. With this procedure you will be required to recreate any ATM Strategies you may have saved at this time.

To rename the DB:

Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> DB--> NinjaTrader.MDB.
Right click on NinjaTrader.MDB and select "Rename."
Name it "NewNinjaTrader.MDB."
Then restart the software.

Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

Chris:

This won't help because the problem persisted after removed NinjaTrader.mdb (see step #2 of my 'NT is acting up' protocol). Any other ideas?

Thx.
