combination order type not supported

aloha,I have been sim trading the cl fine with an atm strategy but when i go over to live trade i get an error code combination order typestop limit and time in force gtc not supported by exchange.when i set the parametersi set the tif to limit,i tried stop limit same result what am i doing wrong?help

Thank you for your note.

You will likely want to change the TIF (TimeInForce) to day here. It's possible your stop / limit orders are not accepted as GoodTillcanceled for this instrument.

thanks ryan I set the tif in the strategy parameter section ,I have tried day i also set the order type to stop limit all to no avail.

Hi Jungo,

Right click in superdom > Properties.

One setting you might want to look at here is use stop market for stop loss orders. You may need to set this to true.

Your broker should have more details on order types and tif supported for the particular instrument you're trading.
