since my update friday evening ,ever ytime i try connecting to zen fire i am getting the following message:
login failed:Cbi.connection.connectNow:failed to call IAdapter.Connect:Method not found:'void com.omnesys.rapi.REngineParams.set_LogFilePath(Sys tem.String)")
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i can succesfully connect to yahoo.
Does somebody have any idea what the problem might be....
Is anybody else facing the same problem____

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

This error message indicates that the following uninstall of NinjaTrader 7 beta 20 before installing B21 was not performed.

Critical Upgrade Instructions
To install Beta 21, it is MANDATORY to first uninstall any prior version before installing. This procedure will not remove your data and settings.
For people upgrading from Beta 16 or later please use the following steps:
- Uninstall NinjaTrader 7 via Windows Control Panel
- Delete the folder C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 7 if you have a 32-bit machine OR
- Delete the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 7 if you have a 64-bit machine
NOTE: Deleting these directories will remove any custom sounds you may have
- Install NinjaTrader 7 Beta 21

Then download and install NinjaTrader beta 21.

Please let me know if this does not resolve the issue.

All sorted---again uninstall 20 and install 21....Thanks for help..

Hello rightcoast,

Thank you for your post.

For this error message we will need you to send us your Log & Trace files.

You can find these in your (My) Documents folder at the file path:
1. NinjaTrader 7 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt
2. NinjaTrader 7 > Log > log.YYYYMMDD.txt

Just attach these text (.txt) files to your email/response.

Please include a reference to this thread & email it to support AT ninjatrader DOT com.

Yes, myself also. I had the exact same problem, uninstall and reinstall.
