Installing NT6....NET Framework error

When trying to install NT6 I am directed to load .Net Framework v2. When trying to install the .Net Framework I get an error 1406....Could not write value Export to key. Is there someone who could help with this. My OS is xp home and I do have .Net Framework 1.1 installed. Thanks

I just tried loading the .Net Framework from the link you sent. Still get the error 1406...Could not write value Export to key\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\.Net DataProviderforSqlServer\Linkage. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key. Hope you can help!

Unfortunately this is outside what we are qualified to support since this is Microsoft software. Usually we can help if we have seen issues before but this is a new one. Your best course of action is to contact Microsoft technical support at this time.
