Jeroen,

What do you mean by Volume? I am connected to the same server you are and receive depth volume data in my SupeDOM for FDAX 09-07.

I don't mean the bid/ ask in the dom, but total traded volume (indicators>volume)

thanks again,

Jeroen

Thanks for the clarification.

Trading Technologies does not provide historical data and therefore you will not see historical volume or chart bar data. If you are connected, over time you will see the chart construct in real-time.

Following is a matrix of the various providers we support and their levels of data service. You can optionally use eSignal, DTNiQ or OpenTick (OpenTick is Free) and connect to one of these providers (second connection) that will give you the historical data for your charts.

I'm not talking about historical data.... when I'm connected I don't get volume data at all.... It does work on other exchanges....

thanks,

Jeroen

The issue is that as you open a new chart where there is no historical data in your database, there is a setting under Chart Properties named "Show unstable period for indicators" which is set to 'false' as default. What this does is prevents indicators from displaying until there is enough data for the indicators's calculations to display valid values.

Once you have enough data (could be 20 or so bars) then Volume will display. If you set this value to 'true', volume will display now.

that seems to do the trick.... thanks
